While at the City of Seattle I designed and created the Build ArtSpace Equitably (B.A.S.E.) certification program. Each year the program engaged 20 professionals from the worlds of both commercial property development and cultural community development, and together explored a curriculum built to demystify the process of cultural space development.

I managed the project from conception, through its development and the first five years of its implementation. I built the curriculum advisory council to develop the model, and working with a brilliant staff and volunteer advisors led the program and co-hosted the sessions themselves.

The program migrated from the City of Seattle to the Cultural Space Agency when that entity was finally chartered and I continued to oversee the program there.
